Federal Court Sides With Sharia Law Against Oklahoma Voters
by Fyork on JANUARY 11, 2012 in CIVILIZATION JIHAD, MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD, SHARIA LAW, STOP THE ISLAMIZATION OF AMERICA
Three members of the Denver-based 10th Circuit Court of Appeals have ruled that Oklahoma cannot ban state courts from considering or using Sharia Law in their decisions.
The federal judges have decided that banning Sharia would be discriminatory against religion.
The court’s 37-page ruling stated: “While the public has an interest in the will of the voters being carried out … the public has a more profound and long-term interest in upholding an individual’s constitutional rights.”
The case was brought by Muslim Muneer Awad, an Oklahoma City resident who claimed that his religious liberties would be violated by the Oklahoma law. Awad is director of the Oklahoma chapter of CAIR, better known as the Muslim Mafia and part of the Muslim Brotherhood. Awad was aided by the ACLU, which routinely supports Islamists and other enemies of our nation.
The law, passed by 70% of the voters in 2010 barred Oklahoma courts from using Sharia Law.
State Senator Anthony Sykes, who was one of the anti-Sharia law’s sponsors stated that this decision is an attempt “to silence the voice of 70% of Oklahoma voters. At some point we have to decide whether this is a country of, by and for the judges, or of, by and for the people.”
In short, three unelected judges have just overturned the clearly expressed will of 70% of the voters in Oklahoma who fear that Sharia Law will be imposed on them by the court system at some point.
