I believe in the American ideal of freedom of worship. I have no problem with that. BUT I DO HAVE A PROBLEM WITH A MUSLIM MOSQUE AT GROUND ZERO!!
On May 25, a New York City community board voted to support a plan to build a mosque and cultural center near ground zero!! Do they not have a conscience?!?! Do they understand the pain they are inflicting on the three thousand families who lost loved ones in that attack? This is political correctness bordering on insanity, and it must be stopped!
The ugly truth of the matter is that the madmen who killed our fellow citizens on September 11, 2001 were radical Muslims.
Apparently, APPEASEMENT is the order of the day!
New York City community board Member Rob Townley stated, "It's a seed of peace. We believe that this is a significant step in the Muslim community to counteract the hate and fanaticism in the minority of the community."
Quite the contrary, I believe it is a major SEED OF DISCORD!!!!
The building of the mosque must be stopped!
Families of the 9-11 victims are outraged! How could a local community board approve this dangerous plan?
Radical Muslims massacred our fellow citizens RIGHT THERE near the place where they now want to erect a Mosque! Where is the respect? Where is the sensitivity that liberals are always touting? Where is the common sense?
Sponsoring organizations of the project said they were trying to "establish a vibrant and inclusive-world class facility."
To most clear-thinking Americans and patriots such as you, the word "INCLUSIVE" does not include radical Muslims!! Islam is not "inclusive"!
The 13-story mega-mosque and "Islamic Center" will cost $100 million!! It would also provide 150 full-time jobs and 500 part-time jobs to Muslims, many of who are NOT American citizens.

13 stories of Islamic teaching against America at Ground Zero!! Here's the clincher: They want to dedicate it on the tenth year anniversary of the 9/11 attacks!! Think about it---the symbolism of a mosque at Ground Zero that will be dedicated on the tenth anniversary of 9/11. It is like North Korea testing nuclear weapons on July 4th. It is intended to say, "IN YOUR FACE!"
This Mosque is headed by an imam who blamed America for terrorist attacks and supports Sharia Law.
This is the very kind of symbolism that empowers and emboldens our enemies! It's a colossal sign of weakness hung around our necks. I believe the Ground Zero Mosque is a symbol of national decline and abject surrender in the war on terrorism. IT MUST BE STOPPED!!
In the meantime, where is the memorial to the 3,000 Americans who were killed on September 11th? It has faced obstacles and delays. If this mosque is a symbol of anything, it is a tribute to the radical Islam fascists who created human carnage in the name of the Muslim god, Allah!
New York Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said there were no security concerns about building a mosque in the area. That is absolutely ludicrous!! American Mosques have been a key breeding ground for jihadists.
Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer said in a statement that by supporting the multi-faith community and cultural center, the board "sent a clear message that our city is one that promotes diversity and tolerance."
I ask you: Why a "Ground Zero" mosque? Anyplace---but certainly not there!! There are 2500 mosques in America. I cannot understand why Manhattan officials are bowing to the demands of the American Society for Muslim Advancement to open this 13-story shrine to Islam on September 11, 2011!! SOME OTHER PLACE! SOME OTHER TIME! NOT THERE! AND NOT ON SEPTEMBER 11. We must demand that single every United States Congressman take a stand!!
Despite heated opposition, the board overwhelmingly passed the building of this "Cultural Center". The Muslim activists named their planned $100 million mosque after the Great Mosque of Cordoba---a legacy of Muslim Spain representing the height of Islamic dominance? Is there a message here that people are refusing to acknowledge. Muslims believe it is their mission and destiny to dominate the world. It looks like they have the full cooperation of mindless liberal elites who seem to hate their own country, but love any group or religion which is out to destroy us.

This memorial to their "fallen martyrs" will remind them of what THEY accomplished on 9/11. SHAME ON NEW YORK CITY!!! We demand that every United States Congressman to stand up for the victims of 911. Stand up for America. NO MOSQUE ON GROUND ZERO!
You and I must DEMAND that every Member of the United States Congress publicly OPPOSE the building of this mega-mosque at Ground Zero.
To those who lost loved ones at Ground Zero---this mosque adds a reprehensible "insult to injury." It is nothing less than a psychological continuation of the carnage!

I want to do all I possibly can to pay my respects to those 3,000 Americans who gave their lives on 9-11 to those enemy RADICAL Muslim terrorists. Believe me, I am all for religious freedom in America, but certainly NOT a large mosque at Ground Zero. Do whatever you can DEMAND and MOTIVATE every Member of the United States Congress to publicly OPPOSE the erection of a mosque at Ground Zero. It is absolutely preposterous that one would even think about bringing this up for a vote, much less passing it 29 to 1!! What in the world were they thinking? I am behind you, E.W., and STAND AMERICA-PAC, as you fight for the freedoms that we hold so very, very dear! Thank you for putting yourself on the line against this injustice! Yes, our beloved country is under attack again at GROUND ZERO! We must stop being weak and soft on terror. Putting a radical mosque at Ground Zero demonstrates tremendous weakness, not to mention stupidity! More important, it is an AFFRONT to all freedom-loving Americans! |
